Taking good care of an item of clothing can help to significantly increase its lifespan, which is why we are sharing some of our top tips for taking care of your WPA garments so they can stay looking and feeling great for as long as possible, and make your post-purchase routine a little greener.

Care information and washing instructions can be found on the lining of your garment.

1. For your activewear to last longer and the climate impact to become lower, wash on a short cycle at 40 degrees or lower.
2. With each wash, countless plastic fibres from synthetic textiles are making their way from washing machines into rivers and oceans. The Guppy friend Washing Bag is a patented solution that filters out the tiniest microfibres released from textiles during washing. The self-cleaning fabric bag is made of a specially designed micro-filter material. Simply collect the fibres and dispose of them properly.  
3. Our luxury fabrics are not suited to your tumble dryer. Make sure to air dry your kit on a clothesline or rack. Better for your White Pepper Apparel garments and better for the planet.
4. Fabric softeners are made up of silicones, however, our activewear doesn’t need this ingredient – they are already buttery soft. Avoid using all fabric softeners as it inhibits the wicking capabilities of our performance fabrics.
5. Always use eco detergent, or skip it completely and just add your favourite, freshening essential oils such as Tea Tree, Eucalyptus or Peppermint.
